Fall Fest will take place on Saturday, September 10, 2016 from 11:00am – 5:00pm at the Frisco Historic Park and 2nd Avenue between Main Street and Granite Street. Come taste the Flavors of Frisco as restaurants showcase their signature dishes. Peruse local and regional art at the Meet the Artist art show (Saturday and Sunday). Saturday’s activities will include live music, a make and take art project for children and adults, face painting and other children’s activities. There will also be a beer garden featuring Backcountry Brewery benefiting the Friends of the Dillon Ranger District, and Coyote Gold will be on hand serving up Colorado’s own “Microbrew of Margaritas.” .
MEET THE ARTIST
On Saturday, September 10 and Sunday, September 11 the Summit County Arts Council will present a local and regional Meet the Artists show and sale at the Frisco Historic Park. The show will feature jewelry, pottery, paintings, photography and other fine arts. On Saturday, there will also be furniture makers displaying and selling furniture made from signature blue-hewed beetle kill wood.
FLAVORS OF FRISCO
Flavors of Frisco highlights Frisco’s vibrant restaurant scene with small plate samples of signature dishes from Frisco restaurants. Food and beverage sales will be available with Fall Fest bucks which will be sold at the event. Each ticket is one dollar and most items in the Flavors of Frisco tent will be between $2 and $6. Fall Fest bucks may be used at participating restaurants through Tuesday, September 13, 2016. This provides the opportunity for festival attendees to discover some new favorite restaurants during the Flavors of Frisco event and then visit them again later at their location in Frisco.

The Leadville/Lake County Chamber of Commerce is excited to host its 2nd Leadville BBQ and Brew Festival on June 24 & 25, 2016. Last year we welcomed 29 competitors and over 8,000 people to the Festival. For this upcoming year we have a lot of things in the works. The weekend will bring the sweet smell of BBQ and the taste of fine microbrews to this historic mining community nestled high in the Colorado Rocky Mountains. This is a KCBS sanctioned BBQ event and a "cup" event for the Rocky Mountain BBQ Association. Some of the best pit masters in the country will be competing for a $10,152 prize purse and the rights to our "Top of the Mountain" award. Come on up to the high country and enjoy some of the best BBQ and brews in the mountains. Live music and a family-fun zone will complete your experience in Leadville. Remember to save the date!
